Snickers review (#3)

Get some nuts. And that's exactly what I've done... well, I've bought a Snickers anyway. I'll be honest and admit that I'm often quite partial to a Snickers, but enough about that. I'll get on with the review.

If you've been living under a rock the past god knows how many years and don't know what a Snickers is it's basically a chocolate bar consisting of peanuts and a whipped nougat topped with chewy caramel all covered in milk chocolate

I'm gonna go off topic for a minute here and many of you will hate me for saying this but I love fridge chocolate. If it's just a standard bar or block of chocolate I'll stick it in the fridge for a bit. Okay, not so hard that it'll break my teeth when I take a bite but with a thin bar like Lindt it works really well. Now, let me give you some advice - don't put a Snickers in the fridge FOOL (in the words of Mr T). Why? Well, because you will dislocate your jaw. Or at the very least you'll spend the entire day still chewing the damn thing.

Best at room temperature, when the nougat is still quite tough (don't get me wrong) but the caramel oozes and it works with the peanuts so well. It's sweet - but not overly so and not in a cheap chocolate sort of way. And anyway, if it's good enough for Joan Collins or Mr. T then it's good enough for me.

9/10

Do you go nuts (see what I did there?) for a Snickers or do you want nut-thing *groan* to do with them? Let me know below, so until next time...
